Twenty-two years after the disaster in Jurassic Park, a new theme park named Jurassic World now operates on Isla Nublar. The Masrani Global Corporation bought InGen from John Hammond and restored Isla Nublar. In 2005, Jurassic World opened a working theme park with various rides and attractions. Despite the obvious draw from seeing dinosaurs and other extinct animals, the public is always demanding something bigger and better to hold their attention. Advancements in cloning have given geneticists the tools necessary to make dreams reality. In a business move, the company decides to pursue genetically modified dinosaur hybrids. The latest dinosaur, Indominous rex, proves to be a disaster and escapes into the park, wreaking havoc wherever she goes. Now thousands of people are left in peril as the park structure crumbles.
